KAHN Architecture was hired by the landlord to provide Architect of Record services for a medical office by New York Methodist Hospital. Utilizing both the building’s and tenant’s design standards for the flooring, ceilings, lighting, millwork and coordinating equipment specifications, the team met with client to review all requirements, developed plans for budgeting, ensured compliancy and issued contract documents for filing for a landmark designated building. As all work was limited to the interior, ‘no effect’ landmark status was filed to streamline completion of the project.
